Vibrant surreal painting of hummingbirds and flowers in a colorful abstract style.

Our Mission

Hosts are Beth Alison Moon and Suzanne Silvermoon.

Once per month, join us for Saturday Evening Duvall yoga events from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

The Yoga Garden in Duvall, WA

15611 Main Street NE Suite B, Duvall, WA 98019

Located above The Grange Restaurant. Go through the white picket fence on Main Street and follow signs to the stairs at the back of the building.

The opening circle begins at 7:30 pm, so please arrive between 7:15 pm and 7:30 pm to get settled prior to the opening circle.

Dances are currently capped at 17 participants. You must preregister to hold your spot for these freeform dance events. A sliding scale payment of $15-$20 sent by Venmo to Nectar Dance needs to be made in advance to secure your participation. We will update the Facebook event page if the dance fills to capacity, so please add the description "Dance - list date of dance."

Join us as you are, wearing comfortable clothes for ease of movement, with bare feet preferred. ****Love, Compassion, Respect, Kindness, and Freedom of expression through movement are foundational tenets of Nectar Dance.**** Each dance begins by creating a safe sacred space with an optional opening circle and a tune-in to the astrology of the Moon above. The Nectar DJ for the night will share about the Theme of the dance, and Dance Guardians will introduce themselves. Each dance concludes with an optional closing circle where we give thanks for all that was experienced individually and collectively by all who danced together. The circle is open for shares and comments from anyone wishing to express themselves. After all shares are complete, there will be an opportunity for announcements of other community events.

While the music is playing, we respectfully ask for non-verbal communication on the dance floor, reserving conversations for the entrance hall. All life emerges from vibration, be it sound or light... From each unique vibration arises the diversity of LIFE. Through dance, we create vibration within and collectively, stimulating Amrit (Nectar), or the sweet juice of creation and realization. Nectar Freeform Dance unleashes stuck, stagnant energy connected to old stories that may or may not serve the highest good. As these stories release, the vibration and/or Nectar for creating a more LIFE-affirming physical expression in body/mind/spirit is revealed. Nectar is cultivated as new awareness arises through conscious observance of all that emerges within the dance.

***************Safety, Consent, Dance Guardians****************** We honor all forms of self-expression as long as you are doing no harm to yourself, others, or the dance space. Allowing all participants to express themselves fully and freely in a safe and consent-positive environment is our highest priority. Always check in with someone if you wish to dance with them, either verbally or nonverbally, and respect their answer. A bow, turning away, or an answer of “no thank you,” “maybe later,” or “I’m not sure” are all valid responses that should end your attempts to dance with that person. Always check in with other dancers before initiating contact. Use words or gestures to find out if contact is desired, and feel free to communicate any limits or boundaries. Don’t try to initiate a dance with anyone who has their eyes closed. Always approach from the front. A dance can be ended by anyone at any time. A dance may only last for a moment, so don’t assume that someone wants to dance with you in a certain way just because they may have danced with you that way in the past. If gestures or words are not effective and you need support in resolving an issue with another dancer, feel free to ask for help from the dance hosts, DJ, dance guardians, or your fellow dancers. We look forward to your presence at the next Nectar Dance.

Meet The Moment

Nectar Eastside Freeform Dance is a community dance space that welcomes all into a safe consent based environment for creative expression.

What ever life is serving, meet the moment with flowing creativity. Community dancing supports the practice of flow state embodiment. Life is in perpetual flowing evolution. As we dance, we align to the flow state and become present to how we creatively meet the moment.
